iXCells Biotechnologies provides high quality Human Bladder Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HBlMEC), which are isolated from human bladder tissue and cryopreserved at P2, with > 0.5 million cells in each vial. HBlMEC can be used in assays of cell to cell adhesion, migration, and vascular tube formation. Standard biochemical procedures performed with endothelial cell cultures include RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescent staining, immunofluorescent flow cytometry, and generating cell derivatives for desired research applications. HBlMEC express vWF/Factor VIII and CD31 (PECAM) and DiI-Ac-LDL by uptake. HBlMEC are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi and can further expand for 10 population doublings in Endothelial Cell Growth Medium (Cat# MD-0010) under the condition suggested by iXCells Biotechnologies.
