RPASMC are positive for smooth muscle cell specific alpha-actin expression and they are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. RPASMC can further expand for 10 population doublings in RatSmooth Muscle Cell Growth Medium (Cat# MD-0068) under the condition suggested by iXCells Biotechnologies.
